National Costumes - Bunad

Norway have a large number of national costumes. In our family there are costumes from many different parts of Norway.

Here is Nina (left) in her costume from Lenvik (Troms) and Torunn in her costume from Nordland

Inger Lise wear a costume from Vistdal in Romsdal. Martin wear his costume from Romsdal. "There's no need to look so grumpy, Martin!"

Three generations. You may have guessed by now that Inger Lise is my wife. Here in her costume from Vistdal, Romsdal. My mother in-law, Solveig, wear a costume that is called the Coast costume. It was designed some years ago to be a costume for the coastal parts of Norway. My grandmother in-law, Odlaug, again in her Romsdals costume.

Kristin wear her costume from Vestfold. Rune has his costume from Troms. I believe this has a jacket to go with it. Odlaug wear her costume from Romsdal.

There is many great pages with Norwegian costumes on the Internet so i'm going to stop here.
